Password Security:
* Never give your username, password and account details to anyone.
* Remember your passwords all the time. Have at least three (3) reserve passwords to rotate once a week. Change your passwords on a regular basis to protect your account.
* Choose passwords not related to you and avoid easily guessed codes like your birthday, your name, phone number etc.
* Make your passwords long and complex.
* When in doubt , change your password right away. Change your email password first , then your game account password.
* Never login your username and password in any website except on official websites owned by legitimate companies and their respective game clients. This also applies to your email username and password.
* When changing passwords, it is advisable to do it at HOME.
Account Security:
* Please do not post your full personal information in Facebook, Friendster or Myspace (or in other social networking sites), especially your real name, mailing address, cellphone number, etc. There are account hackers using this information to steal off your account or use it for real-life harassment or stalking.
* Regarding “PILOTS” Avoid getting a pilot no matter how close you think you are, pilots are a severe safety risk to your account. (If you can’t play your character, then don’t.)
Email Address Security:
* Use your own email address.
"Eye"-logging Security:
* Be careful of 360 degree-watchful eyes they might snipe your keyboard key strokes when you're on password input.
* Learn to type fast, and if your shop has sliding keyboard holders, use them to hide the keyboard and your hands. This helps defeat eye-loggers. Also, learn to type blind, so you can keep your eyes open for any overly-curious strangers.
